isle of south uist,  2020

The house sits on a prominent hill on the southern edge of the Isle of South Uist with impressive views across the Sound of Eriskay to Isle for Barra. The form of the house consists of two slipping volumes; allowing both front-facing living spaces to benefit from the best views. The materials adopted reference agricultural buildings on the island; utilising render, pre-cast concrete and metal.
