Greig Penny is a registered architect and 3D visual artist based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

He graduated from The Scott Sutherland School of Architecture in Aberdeen, Scotland with a first class honours degree and masters degree with distinction. 

He was awarded several academic awards and upon graduating featured in Building Design Magazine’s ‘Top Six Graduating Architects in the UK’ article. His masters year work was exhibited at The Royal Scottish Academy’s ‘New Contemporaries’ exhibition and was awarded the David & June Memorial Prize. 

He worked as a project architect with a large award winning practice based in Edinburgh, Manchester & London for several years on a number of projects varying in scale and typology for clients such as The Guardian, Jaguar Land Rover & The University of Edinburgh. He was part of the design team for a new house in Cumbria, which was awarded a RIBA Regional award and featured on Grand Design’s ‘House of the Year’ television programme. 

Greig Penny Architecture was established in 2018 and offers all encompassing architectural services and architectural visualisation services. The practice is registered with the Architect’s Registration Board (ARB) and chartered with the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) and Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA).
